Research data management

Project aim

The RDSN (Research Data Service Network) project aims to be a centre of expertise and infrastructure, providing sustainable support services for high-quality research.

Support

  • First level support for Open Science (OS) and Research Data Management (RDM)
  • Solutions tailored to the needs of each school
  • Training (OS, RDM, storage solutions, ethical and legal aspects, etc.)
  • Specific support integrated into the research project (DMP, documentary monitoring, statistical analysis, research methodology proposals, various tools, etc.).
  • Best practice guidelines by domain
  • Centralised information on the libraries' website
  • Technology monitoring for best practice technical solutions
  • Advice on making the most research data
  • Support for data management throughout the duration of the project

How can we help you

  • Being available to answer any questions related to OS and RDM (1st level support)
  • Analysing your needs in more detail during interviews
  • Proposing support measures for each project based on the skills required
  • Supporting you in writing a first version of a Data Management Plan (DMP) that will enable you, at the start of the project or afterwards, to better define your needs over the entire lifecycle of your project and your data.
  • Recommending solutions for each data family, taking into account the specific characteristics of schools and subject areas.
  • Informing you and training you on the best practices
  • Participating actively in your projects if you need specific skills (methodology, statistics, use of tools, metadata descriptions, etc.).
